Between Martigny and Chamonix, the train runs through unknown forests, wild gorges, and crosses vertiginous landscape, offering spectacular vistas of the Trient Valley, a mountainous region of genuine character.

Travelling between Martigny (Switzerland) and Chamonix (France) takes less than an hour and a half on the Mont Blanc Express. The route includes a tooth rack section along 2.5 km between Vernayaz and Salvan with an impressive 20% dip.
