Cinema is a way of crossing borders, meeting other cultures, feeding our imaginations and questioning our humanity.
BURNING DAYS is a Turkish film that tackles a topical issue, the mechanism of populism and corruption. Through the position of a young prosecutor, it shows contempt for nature and minorities through the influence of power, leaving the viewer to make his or her own interpretation. It was awarded the ‘Un Certain Regard’ prize at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
After the screening, we'll be sharing a soup and cheese festival.
The proceeds go towards paying broadcasting rights and supporting filmmakers, artists and authors.
