Louis Lugon-Moulin was born in 1881 with six fingers and six toes on each limb. As a mail carrier between Finhaut and Vernayaz and a mountain farmer, he carved his footprints in a rock on the heights of Finhaut.

The hamlet of They and the Tête des Crêts are home to numerous dry-stone buildings, valleys with vegetation characteristic of wetlands, numerous traces of the passage of glaciers and the surprising engraved prints of Louis of the 6 fingers.
