Charlotte la Marmotte on the stream of Trient
Trient
The Charlotte the Marmot trails are about the natural world in general and provide an enjoyable way of exploring an area and learning about the reality of life in the mountains, via a booklet that is taken on the walk and various information points at intervals along the route.
Charlotte la Marmotte on the Bisse du Trient is :
- 10 stations spread over a 3.2 km route (6.4 km round trip)
- A document with 10 questions and 3D games on the origins of the bisse, its use and maintenance (ideal age, between 6 and 12).
- A chance to walk along a stream on an easy (almost flat), shady path.
- The chance to catch a glimpse of the Trient Glacier in the midst of a grandiose Alpine landscape.
- A reply sheet at the kiosk on the Col de La Forclaz.
Charlotte, a marmot like no other!
Born at the bottom of the Val Ferret, Charlotte the Marmot is a curious animal attracted by adventure and the discovery of new sites.
The six fun trails currently in operation deal with nature in general, and more specifically with the world of mushrooms, mountain safety, irrigation via bisses, geology and hydroelectricity.
Charlotte la Marmotte is all about nature as a playground for experimentation, and a fun way to better understand the realities of life in the mountains.
